Coaches Poll keeps Alabama at No. 8 for Week 13
Alabama (10-1, 7-0 SEC) got to win No. 10 on Saturday after beating Chattanooga (7-4, 6-2 SoCon) 66-10 inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, but the lopsided victory (as expected) did next to nothing to help the Crimson Tide in the eyes of Coaches Poll.
Yes, UA still ranks No. 8 on Sunday, but with a road trip to Jordan-Hare Stadium and Georgia coming up in the next two weeks, they’ll have a chance to prove that they’re worthy of making a climb up the rankings. The SEC continues to get respect though. The top undefeated team? Georgia. The top two-loss team? Missouri. The top three-loss team? LSU. And the top four-loss team? Tennessee. The only one the conference doesn’t hold is the top one-loss team.
