On Saturday, the Alabama football team was tested for the first time this season in a road game against a top-10 Florida team. Fortunately, the Crimson Tide came out on top in the 31-29 contest.

On Monday, five guys were named the Players of the Week by the Alabama coaching staff. Of those five players, two came on offense, two on defense and one on special teams.

Offense

RB Jase McClellan: Excellent performance as a receiving back (4 catches, 41 yards, TD). Only averaged 1.9 yards per carry, but helped grind out tough yardage late to secure a win.

RB Brian Robinson: Led the team in carries (14) and rushing yards (75). Added a receiving touchdown on his lone catch while teaming up with McClellan to help secure a victory late.
