The Alabama football team (10-1, 6-1 SEC) was able to get its fourth-straight victory on Saturday after beating No. 21 Arkansas (7-4, 3-4 SEC) 42-35 in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Sure, it was closer than Vegas predicted, but the Razorbacks are a good football team.

Due to their standout performances in the game, 10 different Alabama guys were given Player of the Week honors by the coaching staff. That includes five on offense, three on defense and two on special teams.

Here are those 10 players:

Offense

WR John Metchie: Led both teams in targets (14) and catches (10), which he turned into 173 yards and a touchdown. Dominated the short to intermediate routes for Alabama.

WR Jameson Williams: Led both teams in receiving yards (190) and receiving touchdowns (3) on his 8 catches. His 13 targets only trailed Metchie. Continues to provide a lethal vertical threat each and every week.

QB Bryce Young: Broke the school record for passing yards in a single game with 559. Also added 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions to his season totals while completing 78% of his passes.

RB Brian Robinson: Acted as a true workhorse running back, getting 30 of Alabama’s 32 touches at the position. Turned his 27 carries into 122 yards (4.5 yards per carry) while adding 18 receiving yards on 3 catches.

OL Evan Neal: Did not allow a sack or pressure on 40 pass attempts. Tied his season-high for knockdown blocks with 6 while helping Alabama put up 671 yards of offense and 42 points.

Defense

LB Henry To’o To’o: Led both teams in tackles (13), tackles for loss (3.0) and sacks (2.0) while being the main communicator of the defense. His tackles for loss and sacks were both season-highs for him.

OLB Will Anderson: Once again racked up double-digit tackles (11) while also adding 3.5 tackles for loss, a sack and two QB hurries. Despite getting extra attention, Anderson remains seemingly unstoppable.

DL Phidarian Mathis: Finished with 5 tackles, one of which went for a loss, along with one QB hurry. Continues to be a disruptive interior force to complement Anderson on the outside.

Special Teams

RB/LB Demouy Kennedy: Continues to be one of the most consistent players on special teams for the Crimson Tide. Contributed to Arkansas not having a single return on the afternoon.

K Will Reichard: Chipped in 10 of Alabama’s 42 points on the day by converting all 4 of his extra point attempts and 2 of his 3 field goal tries. Hit from 48 and 30 yards out while missing a 47-yarder.

Young, To’o To’o named SEC POTW

In addition to being named Players of the Week by Alabama’s coaching staff, Young and To’o To’o were also the SEC Players of the Week. Of course, Young was on offense and To’o To’o was on defense.

Alabama will go on the road to take on the Auburn Tigers this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS. The Crimson Tide are currently 19.5-point favorites for that game, according to VegasInsider.com.
