Crimson and Coffee: Giants destroy WFT, Jimmy's prediction and more
Good morning, Alabama fans, and welcome to the Crimson and Coffee. Football will always be our focus, but every day we’ll cover news, notes and analysis from across Crimson Tide sports. Join us each morning to get caught up on everything you missed in the world of Alabama football, recruiting, basketball and more in Crimson and Coffee.
Giants Blow NFL Game to WFT
Two things remained a constant in the NFL Thursday Night Game — Alabama flooded the field with alums and the Giants created a way to lose. Let’s give Alabama Player of the Game to Saban-bot Jonathan Allen with 6 tackles, 2 sacks and 3 TFLs. The focus for Bammers is on the field of play of course but don’t forget the NYG are coached by, among others, Burton Burns, Freddie Kitchens and Jeremy Pruitt.
Jimmy’s Official Prediction
On the BCS Board yesterday one could find Clint Lamb’s bold predictions regarding the contest versus Florida but also Jimmy’s Official Prediction — Alabama 34, Florida 20. In that vein, in another thread, he opined that “The Emory Jones we have seen so far can not beat Alabama but the Bryce Young we have seen can beat Florida.” Kickoff is 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday on CBS.
Alabama Soccer
The Tide lost to Ole Miss in Oxford, 3-1. McKinley Crone scored the lone Bama goal. Ugh.
Nick Saban Show
Coach Nick Saban’s radio show was informative and entertaining as ever on Thursday night. He gave us a promising report on Will Anderson’s availability for Saturday’s game, he praised the progress of punter James Burnip and commented on the story involving — potentially — his testes.

Alabama Women’s Golf
They finished fourth in the tournament in Minnesota. This was a loaded field. Looks like the Bama ladies will be a serious contender in an always-loaded SEC race this school year.
