Does adding Western Kentucky's Cole Spencer make sense for Alabama?

Several Alabama fans have asked me about Western Kentucky offensive lineman Cole Spencer. After being a three-year starter for the Hilltoppers, would the Crimson Tide have any interest in the 6-foot-4, 300-pound tackle? That question has a lot of layers to it, making it somewhat difficult to answer. But in short, it's absolutely possible that Alabama might want to kick the tires on a player such as Spencer.
