All eyes will be on the nation’s top-ranked prospect Arch Manning in the coming weeks. After wrapping up spring ball on Friday, it’s being reported that Manning has scheduled three of his five available official visits.

On3’s Inside Texas reported yesterday that the Five-Star Plus+ quarterback will officially visit Texas from June 17-19. 247Sports confirmed that report, adding that Manning has also scheduled officials to Alabama (June 10-12) and Georgia (June 3-5).

BamaOn3 spoke with Manning’s father, Cooper, who confirmed that they will be taking their official to Alabama the second weekend of June.

This will be a crucial visit for Alabama as this could be Manning’s last visit to Tuscaloosa before committing. Manning, a product of Isidore Newman School in New Orleans (La.), was recently noncommittal on a decision timeline; he isn’t, however, ruling out a commitment before his senior season.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) currently gives the Longhorns a slight advantage over Georgia in the race to land Manning. Texas currently sits at 47.2 percent, with Georgia (39.8 percent) and Alabama (11.2 percent) trailing behind.

On3 Scouting Report on Arch Manning

Arch Manning is the No. 1 prospect not only on On3, but across all recruiting media services as well. On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote the following when breaking down why Manning is such a highly coveted recruit.

Possesses a pure throwing motion with one of the quickest releases we’ve seen from a high school quarterback prospect,” Power wrote. “Those mechanics pair with a strong arm to make Manning one of the more natural and accurate passers in the 2023 cycle. Has the ability to carve up opposing defenses from inside the pocket or outside of structure when things break down. Shows innate field vision for his age with the ability to find open receivers while making second-reaction plays. An above average athlete for the position with polished footwork and the capability of picking up yards in scramble situations. Has filled out a big frame over his high school career. Entering his junior year as the most physically developed top quarterback in the 2023 cycle. Also carries a substantial mental load for a junior quarterback with the responsibility of setting protections.
