Another Friday, another slate of high school games featuring future members of Alabama’s football program.

This will be an exciting week of high school football as all of Bama’s commitments still playing are either beginning postseason play or well into the playoffs. BamaInsider previews games that Alabama’s pledges will be participating in tonight and tomorrow.

Where Alabama commitments will be playing this week

2023 Commitments  

Bray Hubbard — In their second-round playoff game, the 11-0 Ocean Springs Greyhounds will have a neutral site matchup with Oak Grove (10-2) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

Caleb Downs — Mill Creek (10-1) continues their postseason run with a second-round playoff game against North Cobb (9-2) tonight at 6:30 p.m. Central.

Conor Talty — St. Rita (10-2) is in their state semifinals, and will face off against Chicago Mt. Carmel (12-0) on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Central.

QB Eli Holstein — Zachary (8-2) will play host to West Monroe (8-2) in a second-round playoff game tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

WR Jalen Hale — Longview (11-0) will look to continue their dominant 2022 campaign with a neutral site second round playoff game against Lone Star (9-2) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

RB Justice Haynes — The undefeated Buford Wolves (11-0) have a home game against Walton (9-2) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

WR Malik Benson — Hutchinson Community College (10-0) is still waiting to see who they’ll play in their first-round playoff matchup.

OL Miles McVay — East Saint Louis (10-2) will play Lemont (12-0) in the state semifinals on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Central.

OL Olaus Alinen — The Loomis Chaffee School (7-1) has an away playoff game against Williston Northampton on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Central.

RB Richard Young — After upsetting Palmetto last week, Lehigh (5-3) will be at Venice (6-3) tonight at 6:30 p.m. Central.

OL Ryqueze McElderry — Anniston (11-0) has a neutral site playoff game versus Andalusia (11-1) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

Tony Mitchell — Thompson’s (9-3) state semifinals playoff matchup is a neutral site game against Hoover (11-1) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.

TE Martavious Collins — Rome (10-1) has a second-round home playoff game against Alpharetta (8-3) tonight at 6:30 p.m. Central.

2022 season is over: DB Jaylen Mbakwe and WR Perry Thompson

2025 Commitments:

WR Ryan Williams — In their third playoff game, Saraland (11-1) has a home playoff game against Homewood (11-2) tonight at 7:00 p.m. Central.
