Crimson Tide commitments and targets on both sides put up strong performances during the all-star game. Alabama’s MVP was awarded to Clemson commit Peter Woods, while Ole Miss commitment Suntarine Perkins was named Mississippi’s MVP.
Here are statistical performances of Bama’s pledges and targets from Saturday’s contest, via StatBroadcast.
Stats from Alabama commits Bray Hubbard, Hunter Osborne, and Yhonzae Pierre
Bray Hubbard: Hubbard was recruited by Alabama to play safety, but played exclusively at quarterback in today’s game.
The four-star prospect completed 4-of-10 passing attempts for 44 yards while rushing for 46 yards on 11 carries. He was also sacked twice, including a forced fumble from future teammate Yhonzae Pierre.

EDGE Yhonzae Pierre: The borderline five-star prospect recorded a strong game against Mississippi’s best.
Pierre’s highlight of the day was a strip-sack on Hubbard that was recovered by a fellow Alabama defender. He finished the game with four total tackles (2 tackles for loss), a sack, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder had 9.5 total tackles — three of those being for loss — and recorded a pass breakup. Perkins was all over the field, showing off his versatility by making tackles from sideline to sideline.
Perkins spoke with On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power about Alabama’s continued pursuit of him, if he’ll take an official visit to Bama, and his interest in the program.
Clemson DL pledge Peter Woods: At one point, Woods was referred to on a broadcast as a “man-child,” and for good reason.
Woods recorded eight total tackles (six solo), including 7 tackles for loss. He also had a pair of sacks and a forced fumble on Saturday.
Woods remains locked in with Clemson, but Alabama will not give up on Woods until he puts pen to paper.
Florida DL commit Kelby Collins: It was a relatively quiet day for Collins as he had two solo tackles, including a tackle for loss, on the afternoon.
Collins spoke with Power this week about Alabama’s message to him down the stretch and if he’ll take anymore visits during his recruitment.
