The Alabama men’s basketball team (17-9, 7-6 SEC) is currently on a three-game winning streak after beating Mississippi State 80-75 on Wednesday night. Next up on the schedule is a road matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats (21-5, 10-3 SEC), who have already beaten the Crimson Tide once this season.

With only five regular season games left before the start of the SEC Tournament, Alabama needs to create as much momentum as possible. The good news is that they’ve won six of their last nine games with two of those losses coming to two of the nation’s top four teams in the Auburn and Kentucky. Granted, the third loss was to Georgia, its only SEC win of the season, but the current three-game win streak is a positive sign.
