How to watch, listen to Alabama basketball vs. Purdue
The Alabama men’s basketball team (6-2) is back on the court on Saturday for an early-season test against No. 4 Purdue (8-1). The Crimson Tide will be heading north of the border to play this game too, as it’s set to take place in the Hall of Fame Toronto Series. After dropping two of the last four games to Ohio State and Clemson, UA is looking for a statement win against a Boilermakers squad that features one of the top bigs in college basketball, Zach Edey.
The 7-foot-4, 300-pound center is averaging a double-double this year with 23.7 points and 11.2 rebounds to go with 2.9 blocks. The Toronto native actually put up similar numbers last year too (22.3 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks), which means there’s a long-term track record for this guy. And with Alabama struggling with size this year, the Crimson Tide will need to put up points on offense if they want a chance to come away with a win.
