Alabama football is set to return on Saturday. After a long offseason, the Crimson Tide will take on Middle Tennessee inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The quarterback battle between Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson and Notre Dame transfer Tyler Buchner continues on, and fans will finally have a chance to see at least 1-2 of them get meaning action.

The Blue Raiders are part of the Group of Five, but they’re fresh off an 8-5 season, which included a 25-23 victory over San Diego State in the EasyPost Hawaii Bowl. They will be breaking in a new quarterback though. Last year’s starter, Chase Cunningham, is now gone, which means Nick Vattiato will be taking on the role of signal-caller for the offense.
