TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — We are only hours away from watching the Alabama football team take the field for the first time since the 45-20 Sugar Bowl victory over Kansas State back in December. After 14 practices this spring, the White Team (first-team offense) will face off against the Crimson Team (first-team defense).

There are plenty of storylines to monitor on Saturday, including the ongoing quarterback battle between Jalen Milroe (White Team) and Ty Simpson (Crimson Team). The spring game isn’t a setting that allows for these guys to completely showcase their skills, especially Milroe. With the signal-callers wearing black, non-contact jerseys, it’s difficult to get a feel for the rushing impact from the position.

Still, this should be an exciting day in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama fans will get their first glimpse of potential impact freshmen such as running back Justice Haynes, safety Caleb Downs and defensive lineman James Smith. You’ll also get to see how five-star JUCO addition Malik Benson is coming along at wide receiver. We’ve heard great things about his performance all spring, but it’s a deep room.

So where does he fit in?

In order to get you ready for kickoff, we’ve collected all the pertinent information you’ll need for Saturday’s game, including TV info, how to listen and a brief history of the series. Obviously, Alabama will win, but what does everything look like? This will be the only chance for everyone to get a look before the Tide take the field against Middle Tennessee State on Sept. 2.
