Alabama is coming off a tough home loss to No. 1 Auburn and now has another difficult matchup in front of it as it tries to get back in the win column against No. 15 Missouri on Wednesday night.

The Tigers have been one of the biggest surprises in the SEC this season. After going 0-18 in conference play a season ago, Dennis Gates has Missouri in the thick of the conversation for a double-bye in the SEC Tournament, currently sitting at 8-4 in league play with a 19-6 overall record.

The loss to Auburn dropped Alabama to 10-2 in league play, one game back of its archrival for first place. Though the loss sets the Tide back in terms of competing for the SEC regular season title, it still controls its destiny to at least split the title, and potentially better if Auburn drops another game.

For some reason, Mizzou Arena has been a difficult place to play for Nate Oats teams. Oats lost in Columbia his first three years at Alabama, winning for the first time in 2023 and improving his record in that arena to 1-3.

The game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
