After picking up two wins on the road last week, No. 4 Alabama will be back at home on Tuesday night to take on No. 21 Ole Miss.

The Crimson Tide and the Rebels are two of three teams that sit tied atop the SEC standings at 3-0 through the first week and a half of league play. Alabama’s first three wins came over Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

Ole Miss has had a great start to its second year under head coach Chris Beard. The Rebels are 14-2 on the year with both losses coming in non-conference play, one to Purdue and one to Memphis. In SEC play, Ole Miss has opened with wins over Georgia, Arkansas and LSU.

The metrics view the Rebels as a well-balanced team, currently holding the No. 31 offensive efficiency rating and No. 22 defensive efficiency rating in the country, per KenPom. Ole Miss is rated No. 24 nationally by KenPom, and ranked No. 23 in the NET, making this a Quad 1 opportunity for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama head coach Nate Oats has never lost to Ole Miss in his Crimson Tide career, holding a perfect 5-0 record. Alabama is currently on a 7-game win streak against the Rebels, with the last loss coming in January 2018.

This top-25 matchup will tip off at 6 p.m. CT.
