No. 6 Alabama is looking to win a second straight game on Tuesday night, back at home for the second game in a row to take on No. 24 Mississippi State.

It’s the second meeting of the season between these two teams. Alabama is going for the sweep after beating the Bulldogs in Starkville on Jan. 29 by a final score of 88-84. Star Mississippi State guard Josh Hubbard went for a career-high 38 points in the first meeting.

Mississippi State looks to be headed to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season under head coach Chris Jans. The Bulldogs have hovered around the middle of the pack in the SEC all season, currently holding a 7-7 league record, but that’s been good enough to keep them in the top-25 for the majority of the year.

Alabama head coach Nate Oats has been excellent against Mississippi State during his time in Tuscaloosa. He’s won 11 of 13 games against the Bulldogs since taking over in the 2019-20 season, including seven in a row.

The game will tip off at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
