How to watch, listen to No. 7 Alabama vs. No. 5 Florida

No. 7 Alabama has a sixth consecutive ranked opponent on the schedule on Wednesday night, welcoming in No. 5 Florida for a monumental conference clash in early March.
Both teams have been eliminated from SEC regular season title contention after Auburn clinched the title outright on Saturday, but both teams still have plenty to play for. They’re each tied for second place at 12-4 in SEC play, meaning the winner will clinch a double-bye in next week’s SEC Tournament. They’re each also in major contention for a 1-seed in the NCAA Tournament, with the winner adding another high-quality win to the resume.
These teams met three different times last season. Alabama won a thrilling overtime game on its home floor, before Florida routed the Tide by double digits twice within 10 days of each other in Gainesville and the SEC Tournament quarterfinals. It will be their first meeting this season.
Nate Oats noted during his Tuesday press conference that this will be the second-ever meeting between Alabama and Florida as top-10 teams. The only other time this happened was in 2002, when Alabama beat Florida in Coleman Coliseum to clinch the SEC regular season title on a layup by Antoine Pettway at the buzzer.
Wednesday night’s game will also be senior night, where after the game Mark Sears, Grant Nelson, Chris Younblood, Cliff Omoruyi and walk-on Max Scharnowski will all be honored.
