In a three-day stretch to start June, Brookwood (Ala.) School offensive lineman William Sanders collected offers from Alabama, LSU, and Mississippi State. Shortly after collecting those offers, Sanders named those schools his three finalists.

Now, the in-state target is slated to announce his college decision this month.

Sanders informed BamaOnLine that he will be committing on July 21 at Brookwood School at 3:00 p.m. Central. He is set to choose between Bama, LSU, and Mississippi State. Sanders recently spoke with BOL’s Andrew Bone about why Alabama is in that final group ahead of his decision.

“Honestly, it’s just the feel,” Sanders told Bone. “I don’t have much to say. Just seeing the inner-workings of the program and what all they have done makes it something I would want to be a part of.”

The Crimson Tide hosted Sanders for a visit in the spring before getting him back in town for a camp on June 1. Sanders would later return for their cook out event shortly before the dead period began.

Sanders opened up about his camp experience at Bama, including the message from offensive line coach Eric Wolford.

“Alabama was straightforward with me the whole time,” Sanders said. “They have always shot me straight. Coach Wolf told me to gain weight. They really liked my film, but wanted to see how well my feet move in pass pro.

“It seems like I impressed them with Coach Saban giving me the offer after camp. Coach Wolf seems to have my best interest at heart whenever we talk and communicate. He has told me that he truly feels Alabama is the best place for me; a place where I can grow and accomplish goals for myself.”
