Jalen Milroe earns multiple weekly honors for performance vs. LSU
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe picked up multiple weekly honors following his standout effort at then-No. 15 LSU last Saturday.
Milroe began the week by being named the Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week and earning SEC Offensive Player of the Week recognition Monday morning. He was later announced as the Associated Press’ National Player of the Week that afternoon.
On Tuesday, Milroe was selected as the Maxwell Player of the Week and the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week. The Katy, Texas native was also named to the Earl Campbell-Tyler Rose Honor Roll and the O’Brien “Great 8” of the Week lists on Tuesday.

- Accumulated 294 total yards in Baton Rouge, including 185 rushing and 109 passing
- Totaled 185 yards and a career-high tying four touchdowns across his 12 carries
- Found the end zone with his legs on scoring runs of 39, 10, 19 and 72 yards
- Added 109 yards through the air on 12-of-18 passing in the rain-soaked contest
