Kickoff time announced for Alabama-Mississippi State
Alabama is set to travel to College Station in Week 6 for another SEC showdown against Texas A&M. But that doesn’t mean fans can’t go ahead and make plans for the Week 7 trip to Starkville to take on Mississippi State.
On Monday, the kickoff time for that Oct. 16 matchup was announced. According to Southeastern Conference office, Alabama and Mississippi State are scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff, which will air on ESPN.
This will be the 106th meeting between these two teams, which started way back in 1896. The Crimson Tide hold a significant advantage over the Bulldogs in the series with an overall record of 85-17-3.
In fact, Mississippi State hasn’t beaten Alabama since Nick Saban’s first season back in 2007. Since then, the Tide have gone on a 13-game win streak, including a 41-0 blanking in 2020.

Now that we’ve gotten the Week 7 kickoff time out of the way, it’s time to return our attention to Texas A&M this weekend. Otherwise, we might get Saban off on another warranted rat poison tangent.
For Alabama-Texas A&M, kickoff is set for 7 p.m. CT and will air on CBS. Unfortunately, that game has lost some of its lusters after the Aggies dropped out of the top-25 altogether following back-to-back losses. They had been ranked as high as No. 7 as recently as Week 3.
Stay tuned for more information on both of those matchups over the next couple of weeks.
