The Volunteers also suffered an upset loss on Saturday, falling on the road to Arkansas by a final score of 19-14. Tennessee also holds a 4-1 record overall, with a 1-1 record in SEC play.
This is Alabama’s first trip back to Neyland Stadium since the infamous 52-49 loss to Tennessee in 2022. In that game, the Volunteers broke a 15-game losing streak, securing their first win over Alabama since 2006.
In last season’s meeting, Tennessee looked well on their way to a second straight win over Alabama, holding a 20-7 halftime lead. Alabama dominated the second half, winning 34-20 and getting back in the win column in the Third Saturday in October rivalry.
