From Jan. 13 until Jan. 28, Alabama’s coaching staff was allowed to make in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations. This is allowed during what is known on the NCAA recruiting calendar as a contact period.

Come Jan. 30 through the entire month of February, however, all in-person recruiting contacts — whether that be on or off campus — is not permitted. This is known as a dead period.

With the dead period around the corner, Nick Saban‘s staff made their way out to a flurry of schools this week. The story below features photos from stops that Saban and Company made, as well as which prospects they offered in the process.
Where Nick Saban and Alabama’s staff visited this week
Nick Saban made his way out to Acadiana High School in Lafayette (La.) on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide offered Acadiana’s Dominick McKinley back on Jan. 18.
Saban also made his way out to North Panola High School in Sardis (Miss.) this week. That stop led to an offer being dished out to four-star junior wide receiver JJ Harrell, who will be visiting Tuscaloosa on Saturday.

Harrell spoke with On3’s Sam Spiegelman about the Crimson Tide HERE.
Coach Saban and area recruiter Eric Wolford checked in on Pike Road High School in Montgomery (Ala.). Pike Road is home to new 2024 defensive lineman offer Malik Blocton, as well as 2025 running back Anthony Rogers.
Saban stopped by Central High School in Phenix City (Ala.) on Thursday as well. That stop resulted in an offer to 2024 wide receiver Cameron Coleman.
Saban and area recruiter Holmon Wiggins paid a visit to Aledo High School on Friday. Aledo features recent offer Jaden Allen, a four-star cornerback who is currently committed to Texas.
This is also the same school that Crimson Tide running back Jase McClellan attended.
Bama tight ends coach Joe Cox kicked off the week with a trip to Ashbrook High School in Gastonia (N.C.). There are currently no Bama football targets at Ashbrook.
Cox also stopped by Powell High School in Tennessee this week.
