Matt Zenitz puts Alabama duo in early top 10 Heisman candidates for 2022
Last year, Alabama saw two of its star players finish in the top 5 for Heisman Trophy voting. Outside linebacker Will Anderson finished fifth in the voting, barely missing a trip to New York for the ceremony. Meanwhile, quarterback Bryce Young finished atop the list, becoming the first Alabama quarterack to take home the award.
Ironically enough, that’s exactly how Matt Zenitz, a senior national college football reporter for On3, has Anderson and Young heading into spring practice. On Wednesday, Zenitz released his current top 10 Heisman candidates for 2022. Young sits at No. 1 while Anderson sits at No. 5.
