Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided the latest on injured wide receivers Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice in his 10 minutes on the SEC media teleconference on Wednesday.

“Right now, I would say they’re probable,” DeBoer said. “Just continue to work through practices and feeling better and better about it, I think, each and every day.”

Law did not travel with the team to Vanderbilt because of a lower-body injury he sustained in the Week 5 win over Georgia. He also missed the South Carolina game after being in uniform and going through pregame warmups. Law started the first four games of the fall, and while he didn’t fill up the stat sheet, the junior was one of Alabama’s best blockers.

Prentice left the Vanderbilt game after absorbing two big hits on the same play. He was able to hang onto the ball for a 15-yard gain, but officials overturned a targeting penalty that was initially called. Prentice didn’t return to that contest and missed the South Carolina game.

DeBoer provides the latest on Pierre

Last Tuesday, Yhonzae Pierre shared a photo on his Instagram story before undergoing surgery with the caption, “just a minor set bk for a major comeback.” A redshirt freshman, Pierre had played in the first five games after not seeing the field in 2023. The former 5-star has recorded four tackles and two pass breakups as Alabama’s No. 4 Wolf linebacker.

“He would be still up in the air right now,” DeBoer said. “So probably probable to questionable, somewhere in there.”

The Tide’s first availability report of the week will be released later this evening at 7 p.m. CT.

Alabama’s road game at No. 11 Tennessee on Saturday, Oct. 19, is set for 2:30 p.m. (ABC).
