For the second time this year, On3 Sports has unveiled an update to its Class of 2025 rankings. In February, the first edition of the On300 was released, which marked significant changes for Alabama targets at the time. Now, the latest version of the On300 is out, with there being even more changes for targets and a few commitments.

Since the last update, Alabama has added eight players to their 2025 class. This past weekend alone, the Tide earned commitments from linebacker Jaedon Harmon and wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks, both of whom made significant jumps in the new rankings update.

BOL takes a look at several of the current Alabama commits and also targets who are inside the On300.

Where Alabama commitments stand in the new On300

The biggest riser for an Alabama commit, by far, was made by Brooks. The former three-star and No. 99 overall wide receiver is now up to No. 101 overall, which is one of the most impressive jumps made in a single update that you will see. Brooks is now the No. 15 wideout in this recruiting cycle.

Another significant riser in today’s update was from Harmon, who committed to Bama on Sunday. The Rome (Ga.) product is now at No. 129 overall, up 80 spots from where he previously was ranked at. He’s also the No. 13 linebacker in the country, up nine from his prior position ranking.

In-state commitment Derick Smith retained his spot at No. 45 overall, but did move up to become the No. 2 athlete in this class. Darrell “Duke” Johnson, Alabama’s other “athlete” commit in the On300, checks in just a couple spots behind at No. 47 overall.

Staying with a couple of other in-state commitments, Saraland (Ala.) High School’s Antonio Coleman is No. 169 overall in the new update, and the No. 14 defensive lineman in his class. Montgomery (Ala.) Carver HS’ Anthony Rogers is No. 209 in the country, as well as the No. 14 running back.

Monday Update: 2025 RB commit recaps A-Day visit: “It was great energy.”

As always, it’s important to note that there will be several updates prior to the final one releasing in early 2025. This is not a finalized list of rankings for this recruiting cycle.

Sticking with offensive linemen, Michael Carroll made a big jump in the top 100. Carroll is No. 27 overall, up 42 spots from his previous ranking. Carroll visited for A-Day, where he met Landon Dickerson on his flight there and took a picture with Nick Saban on his visit. Summer official visitors for the Tide: Over a dozen prospects have already confirmed official visit plans to Alabama this summer. They will also welcome Auburn commit Jakaleb Faulk (No. 188), as well as Dijon Lee (No. 48), who will be on campus next weekend.

QB to watch: The quarterback to watch remains Julian “Ju Ju” Lewis. Lewis is the No. 23 overall player and No. 4 quarterback in the latest rankings update. He’s committed to USC, and will officially visit Auburn, Colorado, Georgia, and the Trojans in June. Bama hosted him for two visits in March, and is expected to get him on campus in June.

A ‘final’ decision is expected to be made before the start of his senior season.
