TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — On Saturday night, Alabama football moved to 4-0 (1-0 SEC) on the season after defeating Vanderbilt (3-2) 55-3 to open up conference play. From start to finish, this was the most complete performance we’ve seen from the Crimson Tide, as the team was effective on both sides of the ball.
The offense totaled 628 yards of offense (400 passing, 228 rushing) and 55 points. Meanwhile, the defense only allowed 129 total yards (115 passing, 14 rushing) and just three points. This is the sorta dominance we’re used to see from Alabama squads since Nick Saban’s arrival back in 2007.

Alabama will travel to Fayetteville next Saturday to take on a top-25 squad in the Arkansas Razorbacks, who are 3-1 to start the year. Kickoff time is officially set for 2:30 p.m. CT (3:30 p.m. ET), and the game will air on CBS. Stay tuned for more details from BamaInsider.
