Bryce Young made history on Saturday night. After a wildly successful start to the 2021 season, the sophomore from California became the first quarterback from Alabama to ever win the Heisman Trophy.
Young beat out quarterbacks Kenny Pickett (Pitt) and CJ Stroud (Ohio State), as well as Michigan defensive Aidan Hutchinson, for the prestigious award. It was a lopsided victory, too, as he got 684 first-place votes. Hutchinson finished second with 78 first-place votes.
