Photos, video: Alabama arrives in Los Angeles for Rose Bowl
LOS ANGELES – Alabama has landed in California.
The fourth-ranked Crimson Tide arrived at the team hotel on Tuesday ahead of its Rose Bowl semifinal matchup with No. 1 Michigan on New Year’s Day. The team also held its first on-site practice, continuing its prep at Dignity Health Sports Park, home of the LA Galaxy.
Alabama will practice again Wednesday, but it will also make the short trek to Anaheim, Calif., for a Rose Bowl event at Disneyland, which will feature a character cavalcade down Main Street USA at 2 p.m. PT prior to a press conference with coach Nick Saban, defensive back Terrion Arnold, linebacker Chris Braswell and running back Roydell Williams.
The Crimson Tide and Wolverines will square off on Monday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. PT on ESPN.
Below are photos from the team’s Tuesday arrival, and a video of the plane touching down in the Golden State is included at the top of the page. Both are courtesy of the Rose Bowl.
