Photos, video: Alabama spends Wednesday afternoon at Disneyland
ANAHEIM, Calif. – Head coaches and players from Alabama and Michigan participated in a Rose Bowl Welcome Event at Disneyland on Wednesday, riding in a cavalcade down Main Street USA and answering questions from reporters in the Main Street Opera House.
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban rode in a carriage with his wife, Terry, and granddaughter, Amelie, while Alabama’s team captains, quarterback Jalen Milroe, defensive back Malachi Moore and linebacker Dallas Turner were the player representatives in the parade.
“I enjoy it,” Saban said. “It’s always uplifting to me to see people be happy, and there’s a lot of happy people at Disneyland. Riding down the street, you can see everybody’s smiling faces.

“Having my granddaughter sitting next to me and my wife, Miss Terry, of 52 years, that was enjoyable in and of itself. They wanted me to ride up on top, but I wanted to ride with my dates.”
The Crimson Tide and Wolverines will square off on Monday, Jan. 1, at 2 p.m. PT on ESPN.
