Recruiting Thoughts After Alabama's loss to LSU
How will Alabama respond after its second loss of the season? The Crimson Tide is not expected to compete for a National Championship after high expectations for Nick Saban’s team. The preseason No. 1 ranked school in the country were an overwhelming favorite by the media for a seventh championship in Coach Saban’s tenure in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama travels to Ole Miss next weekend. Will the team show up ready to play or will the thought of not playing for an SEC or National Championship cause players to lose focus?

There is a lot that can still happen during these next three weeks. There is a lot of disappointment regarding the current 7-2 season for perennial powerhouse program. There is also a lot of optimism, however, regarding the future. Alabama currently has the No. 1 ranked recruiting class according to the On3 Sports Consensus Football Team Recruiting Rankings. Alabama signed the No. 2 overall class in 2022, and currently has the No. 2 class in 2024.
