Recruits react to Alabama's 49-27 win over Auburn
The Alabama Crimson Tide had little trouble on their way to winning the Iron Bowl for the third straight year. Bama fell behind 7-0 against Auburn on Saturday, but responded by outscoring the Tigers 49-20 the rest of the game. Quarterback Bryce Young was especially sensational as he threw for 343 yards on 66.7 percent completion and had four total touchdowns.

Multiple Alabama commits, a new 2023 target share their reactions to Bama’s big win
Alabama wide receiver commitment Cole Adams is always passionate about his future team whenever he dishes out reactions following games. In tonight’s message to us, Adams remained hopeful that the Crimson Tide will still be able sneak into the College Football Playoff.
“These guys are really starting to heat up at the right time in the season,” Adams said. “It brings them even closer to being able to make it to the playoffs. I believe if they get a chance to be in the final four, they will have a great run at it! The atmosphere of today’s game was absolutely unreal! Loved it! ROLL DAMN TIDE.”
Julian Sayin is the latest addition to Alabama’s 2024 class.
The elite quarterback out of Carlsbad (Calif.) committed to the Tide on Nov. 2 over Georgia and LSU. Sayin shared with us his reaction right after the game ended, once again having praise for Bama quarterback Bryce Young.
“I loved the way the offense played tonight,” Sayin said. “Thought Bryce was phenomenal. The offensive line was very physical and effective in the run game. Played a great game offensively on all cylinders.”
A couple of hours after the game ended, Alabama expanded their 2023 board. Nick Saban‘s staff dished out an offer to C.J. Blocker, a four-star cornerback out of Texas who recently decommitted from Utah.

Blocker had nothing but positive things to say about his first-ever game day at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
“Man, the atmosphere was crazy,” Blocker said. “It was my first time but, man, that’s something to remember. I wasn’t surprised by Bryce Young working his magic and pulling off this win. It was great to watch and see Bama in action up front.”
Switching over to a target in the 2024 class, four-star defensive lineman Jerod Smith watched Saturday’s game at home. Smith, who is teammates with Alabama commit Olaus Alinen, enjoyed what he saw from the Tide.
“They jumped out on them fast, putting up 28 in the first half,” Smith said. “[Bryce] Young and [Will] Anderson showed why they are the number 1 & 2 draft picks. I can’t wait until I go on my OV. It will be my last visit of [next] summer.”
BamaInsider gathered plenty of additional reactions following Alabama’s 22-point win over Auburn. We spoke with several more 2023 commits and a pair of targets in the 2024 class, including one who is committing soon.
