The Alabama men’s basketball team updated its roster on Monday morning, which reflected a couple of jersey changes for returning players, as well as numbers for its eight newcomers.

Fifth-year seniors Latrell Wrightsell Jr. and Grant Nelson will don different numbers for their final seasons. Choosing to return to the Crimson Tide for one final run, Wrightsell changed from No. 12 to No. 3, while Nelson made the switch from No. 2 to No. 4. Both numbers were made available following the transfers for Rylan Griffen and Davin Cosby.

Returning players like Mark Sears, Jarin Stevenson and Mo Dioubate are set to wear the same numbers as last season. Alabama’s updated roster did not currently include any walk-ons.

Alabama also added eight new players to go along with its five returners, and after several of them shared their jersey numbers on Instagram, the full list has now been revealed. The four transfers will wear No. 2 (Aden Holloway), No. 8 (Chris Youngblood), No. 11 (Cliff Omoruyi) and No. 95 (Houston Mallette) in their first seasons as members of the Crimson Tide.

Alabama also signed the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class, per the On3 Industing Rankings, and those freshmen – who are now all on campus in Tuscaloosa – will sport No. 0 (Labaron Philon), No. 22 (Aiden Sherrell), No. 24 (Naas Cunningham) and No. 35 (Derrion Reid).

“I am thrilled with the players we brought in and the value they will add to our program,” said Alabama head coach Nate Oats in late May. “I am proud of our coaching staff in being able to add veteran leadership along with the talent of our incoming freshmen who have all played in big and meaningful games. We are excited to welcome both them and their families to the Alabama basketball program.”
