SEC Media Days Schedule: How to keep up with Alabama, other teams in Nashville

The unofficial kickoff to college football is finally here with SEC Media Days set to begin later this morning in Nashville. Media members, as well as head coaches, student-athletes and even fans from the conference’s 14 schools, will congregate at the Grand Hyatt Nashville this week to welcome another season of SEC football, while the representatives of the universities meander through a stuffed schedule of print, radio and television interviews in the Music City.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban will, of course, be on hand for the Crimson Tide, and he will be joined in Nashville by a trio of juniors in offensive lineman JC Latham, cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry and linebacker Dallas Turner. The Alabama contingent will make the rounds at the downtown hotel Wednesday, July 19, during the morning portion of the annual event.
Saban and his players will be asked a wide variety of questions, some that were already asked during the spring and some that won’t be answered until the Tide begins preseason practice in less than a month. We are sure to hear about the quarterback battle that features Jalen Milroe, Ty Simpson and Notre Dame transfer Tyler Buchner, as well as other key competitions that are still unsettled in mid-July, like left tackle, inside linebacker and within the secondary.
Other topics that could come up are some of the new faces in the Mal M. Moore Athletic Facility. In addition to Buchner, the Tide added four other transfers this offseason on top of its top-ranked recruiting class. How are the new guys coming along after joining the program in late May? The same goes for the coaching staff, which welcomed a pair of new coordinators. Tommy Rees and Kevin Steele are sure to be brought up when Saban and players are behind a mic.
But we will have full coverage of those storylines and more at BamaOnLine when Alabama goes through the gauntlet on Wednesday. In the meantime, we included full details below as to how to watch the league’s annual media days all week on the SEC Network, as well as a complete schedule for interviews in Nashville, which includes each school’s four representatives.
