Senior Bowl weigh-in numbers for three former Alabama players

Before players participate in their first Senior Bowl practices on Tuesday, they went through the event’s weigh-in on Monday in Mobile, Ala. The Alabama contingent of Chris Braswell, Justin Eboigbe and Will Reichard were measured alongside the rest of the 2024 attendees.

Braswell played in every game of this past season and was on the field for the first snap twice, although he was the Tide’s starting Jack linebacker. He finished the 2023 campaign with career-highs in tackles (42), tackles for loss (10.5), sacks (8.0), forced fumbles (3) and interceptions (1). Braswell ranked fifth in the SEC in sacks in his final season of college.

Eboigbe was a senior in 2022 but saw Year 4 in Tuscaloosa cut short due to a neck injury. Returning to the field in the spring, the Forest Park, Ga., native was Alabama’s best defensive lineman this past fall, registering 64 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

The NCAA’s all-time leader in career points, Reichard accepted an invitation to play in last year’s Senior Bowl before returning to Alabama for one more year. He ended his Tide career as the school’s leader in made field goals (84-of-100) and extra points (295-of-297).

The Senior Bowl, the longest continual-running all-star game, has taken place in Mobile the past 74 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1,100 media members from around the country were credentialed last year. In each of the past three years, the Senior Bowl has had 100 or more players drafted and over 40 percent of the draft class, which are both record-setting figures for any all-star game.
