Alabama saw seven former players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft, including the first two first-round selections of head coach Kalen DeBoer‘s Crimson Tide tenure on Thursday night. After the draft, there were still a few former Alabama players left without an NFL home.

Undrafted free agent signings began at the conclusion of the draft, being announced by agencies or other reports. Below, BamaOnLine lists all of the former Alabama players that signed UDFA deals:

James Burnip, New Orleans Saints

James Burnip was an Australian prospect that spent four years as Alabama’s starting punter. He ranks second in Crimson Tide history in punting average with 43.9 yards per punt. He earned All-SEC and All-American honors at different points in his career, and was a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award this past season.

Kneeland Hibbett, Miami Dolphins

Kneeland Hibbett was a walk-on long snapper that won the job as a freshman, earned a scholarship, and served as Alabama’s starter for four seasons. He was named first team All-SEC for his performance in 2023, and was a semifinalist for the Mannelly Award this past season.

CJ Dippre, New England Patriots

CJ Dippre spent two years as Alabama’s primary starting tight end after transferring in from Maryland, where he spent the first two seasons of his college career. This past season for the Crimson Tide, Dippre caught 21 passes for 256 yards. He had a career-high 30 catches, 314 yards and three touchdowns during his final season at Maryland in 2022.
