Two Alabama Crimson Tide players were named to the 2023 Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, the organization announced on Monday morning.

Alabama junior outside linebacker Dallas Turner was named a first-team All-American, while Crimson Tide junior offensive tackle JC Latham earned second-team recognition.

The FWAA is one of five national outlets that determine consensus All-American status, along with the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association, Sporting News and Walter Camp. If three of the above organizations select a player to their first team, then he earns consensus honors. If a player is named by all five, he is a unanimous selection.

Because no player was recognized as a first-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Alabama will not have a unanimous All-American for the first time since 2019.

ALABAMA PLAYERS ON ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
Walter Camp: JC Latham (2nd), Kool-Aid McKinstry (2nd), Dallas Turner (2nd)
