Alabama was a 20-point favorite going into Saturday, but betting lines mean nothing once the game kicks off. The offense struggled early to create consistent movement in the run game and provide Young with adequate protection, but things somewhat stabilized as the game wore on.
Really, the biggest issue revolves around the penalties. Alabama had 15 of them, most of which were in the first half, for exactly 100 yards. The offense struggled in that area, as did the defense. This is an area the Crimson Tide will need to get corrected before SEC play starts in a couple of weeks.
