Weekend Report: Several Alabama signees return to Tuscaloosa
The University of Alabama will have five of its signees on campus this weekend. This is the first opportunity for all to meet with the new coaching staff after originally signing with Nick Saban-led Crimson Tide in December. The five have indicated their status with Alabama remains intact-though all look forward to sitting down and learning more about the new coaches during the next few days.

“Nobody who recruited me before I committed and signed is still there,” Amari Jefferson told BOL earlier this week. “It’s going to be a big weekend for me to get a feel for them, trying to understand how they view me, and what their plan is for me. It’s a completely new staff. I have no relationships at Bama since Saban retired, so I think this weekend will be a big weekend for me.”

He worked with Coach Huff and met with Coach DeBoer at the conclusion of camp. Lloyd also returned to Seattle for an unofficial visit during the season.
This is the first visit to Tuscaloosa for the 6-foot-7, 290-pound junior. He has 14 total offers which also includes Cal, Duke, Michigan State, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, UCLA, USC and Stanford. Lloyd is a three-sport athlete as he also plays basketball and baseball- Junior season highlights
