What Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz said about facing Alabama, Jalen Milroe
Coming off a loss to Tennessee last week, No. 15 Alabama has a huge test in front of it as it looks to get back in the win column against No. 21 Missouri this Saturday.
A win would go a long way in getting the season back on track, while a loss essentially ends all hopes of making the College Football Playoff, as it would be the Crimson Tide’s third loss before November.
Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz joined the SEC coaches teleconference on Wednesday morning to discuss the matchup with Alabama. Here’s everything he said about the Crimson Tide.

“Excited for the opportunity. Obviously it’s going to be a very difficult challenge to play Alabama on their homecoming. Look forward to that opportunity.”
On Jalen Milroe…
“I see a very physical football player, a very talented football player. He’s got a very unique ability and skillset to throw the ball vertically downfield. He does a great job getting through his reads, understanding their offensive system, but also is able to create with his legs. Whether that’s vertical scramble ability or called runs in the red zone, I think he’s the best attribute they have as far as their quarterback run scheme. He’s playing at a really high level. They’re really three plays away from being undefeated. I think, shoot, three weeks ago they were talking about him winning the Heisman.”
