What Nate Oats said about Alabama basketball's 2025 signing class
Alabama basketball officially announced the signings of its three committed players on Monday afternoon, locking the players down during the early signing window.
The Crimson Tide’s class ranks No. 6 in the nation according to the On3 Industry Rankings, and includes No. 32 overall Davion Hannah, No. 37 London Jemison, and No. 71 Amari Allen.
“We are excited with the quality of talent we were able to bring in with this class, while adding three great people that will add value to our program,” Alabama head coach Nate Oats said. “Amari, Davion and London each have a chance to play at the next level due to their ability to play multiple positions with great size, high IQ and skill level. We are excited to welcome both them and their families to the Alabama basketball program.”
Here’s what Oats said about each signee:
Oats on Davion Hannah:
“Davion possesses elite athleticism that is showcased in the open court and has great size, giving him the chance to play a multitude of positions. At 6’6” with a 6’10” wingspan, he fits the mold of how we are trying to play just like the other guys we have brought in.”

Oats on London Jemison:
“London is a combination of great size at 6’8” and his IQ for the game is elite. Throughout our time recruiting London, he possessed one of the best shot charts we have ever seen. His talent and size aside, he is known as a proven winner and fits the mold of how we are trying to play.”
Oats on Amari Allen:
“Amari is an elite wing that has the ability to play multiple positions due to his size, IQ and high skill level. Over the summer Amari proved to be an efficient scorer, shooting 50 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 80 percent from the free-throw line and is a great fit for our style of play, in a modern era of college basketball.”
The belief is that Alabama will continue to pursue prospects in the 2025 class before the cycle is over. The Crimson Tide will lose a minimum of five players off this year’s roster due to graduation, leaving open roster spots to fill.
