Where Alabama basketball is ranked in latest AP Poll

For the third straight week, Alabama basketball remained at the No. 5 spot in the newest AP Poll, coming off a 28-point blowout win over then-No. 12 Oklahoma on Saturday.
The Crimson Tide continues to have an incredibly strong resume, boasting ranked wins over No. 12 Houston, No. 13 Illinois and No. 17 Oklahoma. Alabama’s only losses have come at the hands of ranked teams in No. 20 Purdue and No. 15 Oregon.

The SEC continues to dominate the rankings as it has all season, featuring nine ranked teams in this week’s poll. Those teams include No. 1 Tennessee, No. 2 Auburn, No. 5 Alabama, No. 6 Kentucky, No. 8 Florida, No. 10 Texas A&M, No. 14 Mississippi State, No. 17 Oklahoma, and No. 23 Ole Miss.
Alabama has two games on the road this week, traveling to South Carolina on Wednesday night and playing at the 10th-ranked Aggies on Saturday night.
In other metrics, Alabama ranks No. 9 in both the NET and KenPom.
