Where Alabama is ranked in the polls entering Week 7
Fresh off a top-5 win over Georgia the week before, Alabama did the unthinkable on Saturday, falling on the road to Vanderbilt as the No. 1-ranked team in the country. The loss was the first of Kalen DeBoer‘s tenure in Tuscaloosa, dropping Alabama to 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in SEC play.
The Crimson Tide’s reign as No. 1 lasted just one week, as it toppled in both the US LBM Coaches Poll and the AP Poll this afternoon to No. 7.
It was a crazy weekend in college football, with AP No. 1, No. 4, No. 9, No. 10, and No. 11 all losing games on Saturday. Upsets filled the slate throughout the day, with Alabama’s being the most notable.
