Where Alabama is ranked in the polls entering Week 8
Alabama got back in the win column on Saturday, albeit narrowly. The Crimson Tide, ranked No. 7 last week, avoided disaster by beating South Carolina 27-25 in a tightly contested game that came down to the wire.
The win moved Alabama to 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in SEC play entering a pivotal stretch of the schedule against three straight ranked opponents in head coach Kalen DeBoer‘s first season.
On Sunday afternoon, the US LBM Coaches Poll and AP Poll were released. Alabama remained ranked No. 7 in both polls.
