2024 LB Zavier Hamilton includes Auburn in top ten schools
Gulf Breeze (Fla.) Navarre linebacker Zavier Hamilton included Auburn in his top ten schools Friday afternoon. He visited Auburn for its Jan. 28 junior day event. The list also includes Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, LSU, Michigan State, Notre Dame, South Carolina and UCF.
Hamilton is the No. 425 overall prospect and No. 39 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 64 player in Florida.
The Tigers are also the leader in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Auburn leads with a 25.8 percent chance of landing Hamilton. Notre Dame and Florida State, who both made his list, are trailing closely behind.
Why Auburn made the cut
Hamilton spoke in-depth with Auburn Live’s Keith Niebuhr after his latest Auburn trip. He has visited Auburn multiple times.

“I love Auburn,” Hamilton told Niebuhr. “I love this place. My family are big Auburn fans. My step-brother is the biggest Auburn fan you could possibly meet. Auburn is definitely one of my top picks.”
The visit was eye-opening for Hamilton with Auburn.
“I had a great time,” he said. “Definitely the new facilities (stood out to me). Even though that’s not what it’s all about, it’s nice to see these new buildings after being here first time freshman year. It’s a huge step up and seeing what they’re really putting in to this program.”
Hamilton was clear that a top ten would come out soon after his visit, and a commitment decision isn’t too far off either.
“I’m definitely going to be committing by spring, so maybe like April or May,” he said.
