The latest on Auburn from Crawford
On3’s Jeremy Johnson spoke with Crawford on why Auburn is one of his finalists.
“Really we all have been communicating,” Crawford said last week. “I talk to TLove (Terrance Love). I talk to Kayin (Lee) every week. We chop it up about what’s going on with what they do over there and stuff. Really I already have an understanding of what goes on over there. When they come back to town, we link up, hang out, play basketball and just talk. It would be really cool to play with those guys.”
Auburn’s official visit made an impression on Crawford.
“It was a great experience,” Crawford told On3. “We did a lot of hanging with the coaches and talking with them and building that player-coach relationship. That’s what you want during this process. You never know what can happen. A coach can leave but you can have a good relationship with the GA or the next man up and you can get along well and before long he can be the main coach… That’s what stood out. How we bonded, me and the coaches. Me coach (Hugh) Freeze and everybody. Everyone was happy.”
