Four-star safety Jaydin Broadnax has locked in an unofficial visit to Auburn.

Broadnax, who is ranked the No. 23 safety in the country, will be on the Plains on Saturday for the Tigers’ big Junior Day, he tells On3’s Chad Simmons.

It will be Broadnax’s first visit to Auburn.

“I talk to coach Crime (Wesley McGriff) almost daily,” Broadnax told Simmons. “I have never been there, so I just want to meet the people. Buildings are nice, but they can’t talk, so at Auburn, I want to know the people and see how genuine they are.

“I know I like coach Crime and that it is a great school, so seeing who the people are will be big.”

Broadnax told Simmons a commitment could come in March. In addition to Auburn, he is considering Florida, Florida State, Louisville, Michigan, Syracuse and South Florida.

“I am a month or so away from making my decision,” Broadnax told Simmons. “If not February, then I will commit in March. I know I am getting close.

“I want to play for a staff that cares for me. If I didn’t go to that school, who would still call me and check on me. Playing for coaches who care about the player is important, then it is about coaches who can develop me. I really want a staff that get the best out of me every day.”

4-star WR Marquez Daniel expected to visit Auburn on Saturday

Four-star wide receiver Marquez Daniel is expected to visit Auburn on Saturday, Auburn Live has learned.

Daniel, who is ranked the No. 2 wide receiver in Alabama, will be on the Tigers’ campus for Junior Day. It will be his fourth known visit to the Plains in the past 10 months.

Daniel also attended two Auburn games in the fall and attended a Junior Day last March.

Daniel is one of four top receiver targets expected to visit Auburn on Saturday. The others include Cederian Morgan, who is ranked the top receiver in Alabama, four-star Devin Carter, a recent Auburn commit, and four-star Denairius Gray, who has been committed to Auburn since January 2024.
