4-star in-state OT includes Auburn in top schools cut
On Monday night, AuburnLive recruiting insiders Jeffrey Lee, Keith Neibuhr, and Cole Pinkston held a recruiting live chat. “What’s the latest with Stanton Ramil?”, is a question that was asked more than once.
That question has been addressed in multiple different ways today. Ramil, a priority OT recruit for the Tigers, released his top schools group late Tuesday night.
Ramil is the No. 209 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 19 offensive tackle and No. 17 overall in the loaded 2023 class in the state of Alabama.
Top schools
The 4-star OT from Alabaster, Ala. released a twitter graphic Tuesday night announcing his top eight schools. Those schools are Auburn, Clemson, Mississippi State, Michigan State, North Carolina, Penn State, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee.
The Tigers being included is no major surprise. Auburn has been near the very top for Ramil since he earned the offer back in January.

In checking with sources near to the 6-foot-7 290-pound OT’s recruitment, Auburn is a school that continues to stand out. In other words, there’s a reason why he continues to return to campus other than being close to home.
Ramil has family ties with Auburn as well. His grandfather, Raymond Stanton, played QB for Auburn. He has family around the state of Alabama as well.
Schools such as Clemson, North Carolina, and even Pittsburgh shouldn’t be taken lightly. He has visited all of those schools and has strong relationships with the coaching staffs. As of right now, Ramil has not released a timeline for his final decision.
