BREAKING: 4-star Terrance Love commits to Auburn
Terrance Love, one of the top recruits in the 2023 class, has committed to Auburn.
Love, from Langston Hughes in Fairburn, Ga., announced his decision Sunday on Twitter.
Love chose Auburn over many offers, including ones from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State and Texas A&M, among others.
Auburn has long been the presumer leader for Love. The four-star recruit has visited Auburn at least four times, including most recently for the Tigers’ spring game.
On3 ranks Love the No. 13 linebacker in the 2023 class, although Auburn projects him at defensive back.
Love also ranks the No. 168 overall recruit in the class and No. 18 in Georgia, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally-weighted, industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Love currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $23,000. The NIL Valuation is comprised of a number of dynamic data points that focus on two primary factors – an athlete’s social media presence and their level of athletic performance.

Love, who is listed at 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, is Auburn’s second commitment in the 2023 class, joining three-star interior offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner of Auburn.
Auburn hopes Love isn’t the last recruit from Langston Hughes to choose the Tigers. Four-star tight end Jelani Thurman, three-star defensive lineman Joshua Horton and four-star offensive tackle Bo Hughley all are top targets. So is 2024 quarterback Prentiss Noland.
