Odom is one of multiple Auburn tight end targets who call the state of Georgia home. Four-stars Landen Thomas and Martavious Collins, a former Alabama commit, both are high on the recruiting board for Hugh Freeze’s staff. Some believe Collins is trending toward the Tigers at this time.
Penn State currently leads for Odom in the On3 Recruiting Machine Prediction, garnering a projection rate of 19.4 percent. Georgia Tech is next at 11.5 percent.
Odom’s stock appears to be rising.
Not only does he claim an Auburn offer, but just last week Alabama made the move and offered.
Odom jumped more than 70 spots in the last On3 rankings update (up from No. 112).
Here is what On3 wrote about him: Peach State tight end Caleb Odom was among the biggest climbers in the updated On300 after jumping up 74 spots into the top 40 in the country. The 6-foot-6, 216-pound Odom is a hybrid receiver/tight end that can win with speed and also capitalize underneath with excellent hands and the ability to come away with contested catches. Odom is also impressive as a receiver after the catch, as well as a more than willing blocker, which we should see more of on Saturdays. He’s also impressed with his awareness on the field and polish as a receiver. Penn State is currently trending for Odom on the RPM.
