AUBURN -- Aden Holloway is off to a good start in his college career. The true freshman is averaging 11 points per game, shooting over 40 percent from three, and dishing out 3.5 assists per game. His assists per game places him in the top 89th percentile among all college basketball players. Even more impressive, Auburn is +98 while Holloway is on the floor. That's 25 points better than Denver Jones and 27 points better than Chad Baker-Mazara, who are second and third on the team in +/- totals. "Being in the gym, putting up shots, getting that feeling, just reps, really. I would watch videos on YouTube of people that can shoot, looking at their mechanics. As I would shoot, I would find things I would notice that when I shoot, it goes in," Holloway said of how he became an effective shooter. "I would repeat that process over and over. Definitely Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Trae Young. ... That's where confidence comes from, just putting the reps up. ... Getting shots off, just shooting shots you think you'd shoot in the game, practicing at game speed." More from Holloway on his improved passing, playing for Bruce Pearl and Auburn and more inside...
