Auburn football report card: Offense finds rhythm, defense stands tall in double-digit SEC win

AUBURN -- That's more like it. Auburn's offense found some rhythm (in the first half anyway), the defense continued their solid play, and Hugh Freeze and co. earned their first SEC win of the season by dominating Mississippi State from start to finish. The final: Auburn 27, Mississippi State 13. It's Auburn's first SEC double-digit conference win since beating Ole Miss by 11 in October of 2021, and only the third conference win in the last 17 conference games. But for this day, a win is a win, and the Tigers will take a one-game winning streak into Nashville for a matchup against Vanderbilt next Saturday. Let's get into the grades...
